Hero Fruit Spreadables; Kid Approved for PB&J’s {review & giveaway} CLOSED

When it comes to lunch PB&J sandwiches are always a hit with the kids. Serves with a fresh juice and fruit and you have a quick lunch that meets the needs of growing bellies.
Hero recently send me a goodies basket filled with enough goodies to have a PB&J party. The kids were excited for their PB&J party and I obviously was excited for an easy lunch.

Hero Fruit Spreadables contain NO High Fructose Corn Syrup and NO Artificial Ingredients and are available in four great flavor blends: Strawberry Red Currant, Mixed Berry, Strawberry Banana, and Cherry Banana.

The review package included one jar of each of the four Fruit Spreadables fruit blends, peanut butter, sandwich cutters in fun shapes and sizes, balloons, streamers, recipes, a reusable lunch bag, and a $5 Target gift card to buy fresh bread.

The 1st thing the kids noticed were the Nickelodeon characters they love; Dora, Toy Story, Cars and Sponge Bob. Before asking what each flavor was, the kids based their choices on favorite character.

I was a bit nervous for the kids to taste the Hero Fruit Spreadables because I have always used the same grape jelly. Knowing the Hero Fruit Spreadables were flavored, I was not sure how the kids would like the flavored PB&J sandwiches.

The Hero Fruit Spreadables have a smooth texture unlike most jelly which is clumpy and can be hard to spread. I really liked how easy it was to spread, now I see why they call it Fruit Spreadables. Each flavor had a great fruity smell, similar to fresh peeled berries.

We used the fun critter cutters to make the sandwiches a little fun and the kids enjoyed seeing the shapes turn each sandwich into fun shapes.

Baby Gage Thinks Hero Fruit Spreadables Are Finger Lickin' GoodBefore I knew it my kids had devoured their PB&J sandwiches and were asking for a second! The Hero Fruit Spreadables were a hit with my children! Baby Gage took a long time licking the Hero Fruit Flavors from his fingers long after his PB&J was gone! (see pic to the left) Each flavor was enjoyed and it did not take long for the jars to become empty.

Now every time I go to the grocery store the kids ask for “SpongeBob Jelly” or “Dora Jelly”.

My only complaint about the Hero Fruit Spreadables are they are not sold in chain grocery stores. Hero Fruit Spreadables are available exclusively at Super Target for $2.49. I would love to see them available at other stores too soon!
