Laura’s Wholesome Junk Food {Review}

I had the pleasure of receiving several containers of Laura’s Wholesome Junk Food snacks. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, especially since you don’t typically see “wholesome” and “junk food” in the same sentence, but I was intrigued. Afterall, I do have a three-year-old and am always looking for healthier treats that he’ll actually eat.

I was sent several flavors of the “Bite-lettes” to try,  including Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Cranberry Breakfast and Mint Chocolate Fudge.

Can I just say, I’m in love with these snacks! Honestly, they are really delicious and the best part is, I don’t feel like I’m eating bad.

Created by Laura Trice, MD (yes, a doctor!), all of Laura’s Wholesome Junk Food products are made with healthy, natural ingredients in her California facility. Some are even vegan friendly (which I am not, but a friend is and he loved these too!). So not only do you get a filling snack, but you also get good energy food too.

My toddler didn’t gobble them down like I did, but he’s not one to try new things at this point, so I didn’t force the issue. I imagine he would go nuts over the cookies, since that is a word he knows well.

I’m taking the containers that I have left over to my in-laws for snacks on Christmas Eve. I have no doubt they will be a hit.
