For those of you who have followed me for some time have saw me talking about my desire to lose weight. After 5 children I have
some a lot of extra weight I need to drop. Going from a size 3 to a size 14/16 is not only a self-esteem crusher but also a serious health issue. While I do not feel like I look fat or really overweight, the fact is I am.
My New Years resolution this year was to get back on track and get this weight off (who said moms don’t want to look hot too?). I started cutting calories, going to the gym (until I was kicked out), and making some positive changes in my life. Even with the major changes, I have not lost the weight I hoped too. I’ve lost some but not enough to keep pushing myself.
The awesome news is…..Nutrisystem has selected me to join the Nutrisystem Blogger Nation Program. Nutrisystem will be sponsoring me and providing me with the Women’s Select diet Program for the next 4 months! I am so excited to be selected and ready to get this journey started!

As a selective eater, I was very scared about the food. Really- what diet food is good? The Nutrisystem program allows you to select the foods that appeal to you (except the frozen favorites). The menu has items like Chocolate Chip Scones, Chicken Noodle Soup, Italian Herb Flatbread Pizza and even Ice Cream Sandwiches! How can’t adjust to foods like that?
Over the next several weeks I will be blogging about my experience with Nutrisystem and my weight loss journey! My goal during the program is to lose 30 lbs! Wish me luck!
