What I’m Thankful For

I know I’m supposed to be posting great sales and deals and all, but is it bad for me to say that I just don’t feel like it?  I’d rather just share what I’m thankful for, go drink my Starbucks Chai that my boss just gave me and prepare for my evening of peeling 2,000 sweet potatoes. Then tomorrow I will be at my relatives house with 30 other people eating, drinking, eating, playing touch football and then laying on the couch in misery from eating too much.

Don’t worry, if I come across an amazing deal, I’ll post it. Otherwise, I’ll see you back here on Friday. So here goes in no particular order.

I’m thankful for God and the many Blessings He has given me!!

I’m thankful for my little Butter Bean. My little Cupcake. My little Jelly Belly. Yes, I call him everything but his name (which is Jake).:

I’m thankful for this guy, my hubby, who supports me through thick and thin. He has many nicknames too (he’d kill me if I told you what they are):

I’m thankful for my furry babies, Lucy, Linus & Charlie Brown, even though when I got up this morning and walked into the kitchen in the dark in my bare feet, I stepped in a doggie present that I wasn’t so thankful for.

I’m thankful for my parents, in-laws, step-parents, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, etc. I don’t have pictures handy of them, so just picture the Simpsons.

I’m thankful for my brother Jeff, who passed away in September after a long fight and complications from Type 1 diabetes. I know he’s up there laughing at me…some things don’t change. Happy Thanksgiving Jeff! I love you.

I’m thankful for all the amazing friends in my life. There are lots of them. Here’s my bestest girlfriend, Kristin, who has been my soul sister since 3rd grade.

I’m also thankful for you! I’m new to this blog and you’ve been patient through some changes here as I get my groove with it. Watch for more changes in 2012. Hopefully ones you’ll stick around for.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL! Have a relaxed, wonderful few days and remember to enjoy the little things and to be grateful for the many blessings!

See you in a couple of days.
