The U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission and Lan Enterprises recalled Zooper Tango Double Strollers due to a collapse hazard. The stroller’s frame latch above the front wheels can fail causing the stroller to unexpectedly collapse.
185 reports of latch failures have been reported. In one incident a 13-month-old boy and a 3-year-old boy received scrapes and bruises when their stroller hit a sidewalk and the stroller collapsed.
According to the U.S. CPSC, the recall involves 2007 and 2008 Zooper Tango double strollers with model numbers SL808B and SL808F. They were in production between January 1, 2007 and April 30, 2008.
If you feel your stroller may be one of the models recalled, immediately stop using the stroller and contact Zooper USA at 888-966-7379.
